Lincolnshire Sports Partnership

The Community Games Programme for Lincolnshire is a great opportunity for us to support local communities in developing their own fun activities, at the heart of the community in response to the needs and desires of the local community. The Games can include sports, or cultural activities and will give the participants the chance to receive information about how to participate in these activities on a regular basis.

Our aim is for the programme to bring people together to have fun, trying new activities, learning new skills and developing a pride in and awareness of their own communities.

Lincolnshire Sports Partnership is a sports charity whose main aim is to increase participation in sport and physical activity across the county.

We work with sports clubs, coaches, local authorities, National Governing Bodies (NGBs), schools and colleges, NHS Lincolnshire and voluntary organisations to create, develop and maintain sport and physical activity in Lincolnshire. We identify, support and develop volunteers, coaches and club members to ensure that sporting activities are delivered in club environments to safe and consistent standards. The sporting activities we support aim to be fun for all participants, and should provide an introduction and pathway into adopting a healthier lifestyle and regular sporting activity.
LSP runs a variety of events which include sports taster days, school sports events, inclusive family fun days, talent identification days, wheelchair basketball activities, disabled bike hire, county sports awards as well as support and training for clubs, sporting groups and coaches.
