Following the successful delivery of the Community Games in 2012 County Durham Sport is once again working with Durham County Council Sport Leisure and has formed a new partnership with the County Durham Community Foundation to support the development and delivery of community led events that reflect the needs and aspirations of the local population and culture of County Durham. We see the Community Games as a great opportunity for local people to bring their communities together to take part in sporting and cultural activities in a way that works for them and celebrates the uniqueness of their community.
